Make Your Family Rich
with Pat Keogh, author of the book Make Your Family Rich
Thursday, April 13, 2023
10:30 am – noon (Central time)
Online Only
We are running a video of a very unusual presentation given to the Austin/San Antonio Chapter by Pat Keogh, a New York businessman. The theme is also available in the well-known book by the speaker with the same title as our presentation. It is a fascinating account of how this individual took a very simple investing concept – Dividend Stocks – and not only succeeded in his lifetime but was able to pass the success along to his children and grandchildren.
Pat Keogh is a certified public pension trustee and was chairman of the board of a Florida municipal pension plan. In June 2021 he was appointed by the City Commissioners of Gainesville Florida to their General Employees’ Pension Review Committee. He is a graduate of Manhattan College in the Bronx and the Georgetown University Law Center night school in Washington DC. Pat is a member of the Virginia Bar and the American Association of Individual Investors.
The Retirement Solutions SIG provides the opportunity for folks in or near retirement to informally discuss and share experiences with strategies for enhancing investment income.

Investing In Uncertain Times
with Rob Bernstein, RGB Capital Group
10:00 am – 11:30 am
The financial markets are uncertain. The 2020 pandemic led to extraordinary government stimulus. As the initial impacts of the pandemic wore off, consumers were flush with cash and ready to spend. However, supply constraints were widespread, and demand outpaced supply. This resulted in inflation rising to levels not seen in 40 years. The Fed was late to the game and started to aggressively raise interest rates which drove down stock prices and, at least partially, was responsible for recent bank failures. How are individual investors able to manage through these major market swings and what’s next? Come join Rob Bernstein, President of RGB Capital Group, to hear how he strives to provide better risk-adjusted returns through different market environments and how he plans to deal with the uncertain future.
Join Us and learn –
- How Rob. factors in all the exogenous economic and market variables into his market assessment.
- How Rob uses quantitative and qualitative models to assess what to invest in and to what degree to invest in asset classes
- How Rob’s strategies have worked for investors over the past 1, 3 and 5 years with 2022 being a particularly difficult year for public stocks and bonds.
Rob Bernstein is the President of RGB Capital Group LLC where he manages personal and client portfolios.
